Mothers Day is fast approaching and I have had an early treat. Mothers Day is important to me and I really value the homemade school cards, but now the children are older and have pocket money I do think they should be using it for celebrations and to show they have considered us. After last weekends events I came home from hospital with Erin, only for her to also burst out with chicken pox three days later. Feeling exhausted and worn out I was greeted with beautiful roses from Dyl and Chloe (courtesy of Marks and Spencer). It seems my eldest has been in cahoots with them to spoil me in the run up to Mothers Day.
Not only did I get spoilt with flowers I was given the gorgeous photoframe that I’m going to put a photo of the children in. Yet the gift of time after being in hospital and sleeping on a camp bed was next. Chloe made me my favourite breakfast, poached egg on toast and hot coffee which was delivered on the pretty country heart range . Marks and Spencer gave her the funds to go and buy supplies! I am not a morning person so being allowed to wake up slowly and be treated was fab, Chloe certainly knows what my favourite is!! It was brought to me on the gorgeous and wooden tray which M&S also provided.
For my pampering treats I received a candle which I like having lit once I’m in the bath and the Downton Abbey bath set . Those are some serious goodies to make mums feel extra special and I would like to thank Marks and Spencer for putting a huge smile on my face after a challenging week. Nothing beats being a mum but it is the toughest job and it is wonderful to be appreciated!
Disclosure: I was gifted the goodies from Marks and Spencer although the words and pictures are all my own.
