Motivational Art To Encourage and Reset Your Mind and Creativitity

Over the last few years, I have flooded our home with motivational art and positive affirmations. They not only inspire me now that I work from home but they motivate my teenagers too. We are fans of a quote or two and I have a used motivational artwork in the form of framed posters and also wall stickers when decorating.

I believe that these positive affirmations will be subliminal but continue to sink in and help my family with staying positive even during the tough times.

Desensio is my go to store for all types of prints and motivational art because the range they stock is very impressive plus you can choose multiple sizes of the chosen artwork. Desenio also sell frames which again are available in a range of sizes and coloured frames. Plus you can also order your poster clips, washi tape and hangers to ensure that as soon as your posters arrive you can hang them as desired.

If you are not a creative person it can be challenging to put a look together and again Desenio come to the rescue by demonstrating which prints go together and how you can create a feature wall. The website suggests prints that work together to create the look you want. For example tips for your gallery wall explains that  you should have a plan before hammering the first nail. Think about whether you want your gallery wall to have a specific theme or colour scheme. Would you like your photo wall to be stylish and timeless, or do you want to create an expressive gallery wall brimming with contrast? Once you have answered these questions you will have a much clearer idea of which prints will work in your space.

I took the opportunity to update the artwork in my living room and chose some new pieces including the quote ‘home is where your wifi connects automatically’. My 9 year old thought this was funny. She is really astute and spotted the new additions immediately, whereas it took my son and husband a little longer!

I like that the prints are so affordable that you can update them if you want a change. I also bought a few small postcard size prints that I plan to use over on Instagram when I am putting images together.

Prints also make a great gift whether it is for Christmas, a moving home gift or leaving present. Artwork can be one of the easiest ways to update a room on a budget as you can add splashes of colour or pieces that provoke a conversation. We really like the political and thoughtful messages in Banksy’s work for example and those pieces have encouraged conversations on equality and fairness with my children. As a mother, it’s really important to me that my children have a social responsibility and artwork can help develop this by being thought-provoking and medium to start questioning things.

Artwork is a powerful tool and Desenio have given us the ability to buy everything we need in one place. Once ordered my prints and frames arrived well packaged with the artwork protected in a folder and the frames all on top. The frames have a protective film over them and I spent an enjoyable hour putting the prints in the desired frames and confiming how I wanted them positioned. I kept a couple back for a gift and I can’t wait to give them to the intended person.

I have a wonderful offer for you, but you will need to be quick! The code “EMMAAND3” gives 25% off posters*  between December 11th and 13th. Follow @desenio for more inspiration!
*Except for frames and handpicked-/collaboration posters. What type of prints and motivational artwork do you like? I’d love to know what you choose.
