Num Noms Bella Italia Event in Gloucester Quays

We are getting to that point in the holidays when Erin is asking when she can go back to school.  Although we all love the lazy mornings and not living to a routine Erin is missing her school friends and the fun and activities that school provides.  Therefore it was great to be invited to Bella Italia at Gloucester Quays today to eat pizza and learn all about the new Num Noms.  Num Noms are collectable food dishes that are also scented and can be played with in many different ways.  They really are a senses explosion and that was the theme of today’s lunch.

Erin and Dylan both came along – Erin for the Num Noms and Dylan for the pizza and ice-cream mainly! When we arrived Erin headed straight for the talented facepainter who decorated Erin’s cheek with one of the collectable characters.

The children also did a smell challenge which Erin loved as she is an avid YouTube watcher and she watches these things all the time.  She then busied herself colouring some Num Noms and hunting out scratch and sniff stickers.

The children then made their own pizzas, choosing their own toppings which again fits with the recipe and healthy eating message that comes through from the Num Noms.  They encourage you to mix up flavours and create new recipes.  Erin went for chicken, pepperoni and cheese.   Of course us parents were all chatting and eating the pizza that kept on being stocked up for us.  The children were able to get hands on with the toys, which Erin has announced she is now collecting!

The blind bags or pots cost £3.99 in places like Amazon and contain a collectable NumNom and flavoured lip gloss or stamp.  Erin is being sent some to vlog as everyone knows how much she loves appearing on our YouTube Channel Emma and 3. I can see these being just as popular as they were the first time around and certainly on little girls Christmas lists everywhere!

I’d like to thank Joy for a couple of the fab photos of Erin – you can read Joy’s post from the event here.

  1. What a great post – can’t wait to see Erin’s videos. My boys love them and I like how the new series has reminded them and got series 1 back out to play.
