Life is so crazy busy at the moment that we realised we needed to become even more organised. Our children have such active social lives that we were dropping a few balls. Thankfully 3M Post It the people behind post it notes have come to my assistance. They have a new range out that are fully adhesive notes, known as FAN. Being fully adhesive means that it will stay put for longer – just what I need to get us back on track.
Therefore when I was challenged with three uses for the new FAN Post-it Notes I looked at how they could make my life easier. One approach I am taking is meal planning. I have been looking at planning for the week ahead and making sure that I don’t waste food. Therefore using the FAN’s on the fridge is great. I have our weekly menu sorted out and the children can look and see rather than keep asking me ‘what’s for tea?’
Secondly saw Chloe getting creative and she decorated a new notepad. This isn’t any old notepad it is our Disney Planning notebook! She used a little paper cut press thing that I bought for our wedding invites all those years ago. We found it whilst sorting out the new dining room furniture. It goes to show what is thrown in drawers you forget all about! I love the little flowers and because the whole Post-it Note is adhesive she was able to use all of it. I love the colours of the Post-it Notes too.
Lastly I realised I needed a calendar that we can all add to. Therefore I decided to use a kitchen cupboard and put a FAN for each day of the month. The two eldest can then add their social life to the calendar. It meant we can all see at a glance what we are doing. Then we can just remove one each day.
My final use was for a quick game of noughts and crosses. Dylan is currently battling an infection and we have spent much of this weekend in hospital These Post-it Notes can be thrown in my handbag and turned into simple games with ease. Dare I admit he beat me too!
