We are a bit past the toy stage here and I find it really hard to buy things for Erin. She loves crafting and learning so we stick to products that offer her educational value or ones that keep her hands busy for hours. Erin has an insatiable thirst for learning and retains information like a sponge. Other parents were surprised to learn that Erin knew the birthdate of everyone in her class. I hadn’t thought about it but I suppose that is a bit weird!
Erin is very bright and also very competitive. Therefore when we were offered the Smart Globe Adventure to review I thought it would be a great product for Erin. The smartglobe is an interactive globe that has over 25 learning activities. We spent time playing it for a few days and the three children got very competitive. yes, my 17 year old, Geography A Level student was also quick to join the challenges.
All three of mine loved playing the ultimate challenge. In this game, you need to touch the place called out under the presssure of time. Other features include touching a place to find out the population. It even introduces the national anthem and how to say Hello in the national language. This kept Erin busy all weekend. If you are eagle eyed you will notice how many times her outfit changed during the vlog. This clearly shows how she kept going back to the smartglobe day after day.

The Smart Globe Adventure costs £59.99 and is available from many stores including Amazon. It would make an ideal present for the young explorer. I also think it would be a great addition to the class room environment.
