Win a Bedside Crib

Welcoming a new baby into your home is an exciting and joyous occasion, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to sleep. One of the best investments you can make to ensure both you and your baby get a good night’s rest is a bedside crib. Here’s why:

Benefits of a Bedside Crib

1. Convenient Nighttime Feeding
A bedside crib makes nighttime feedings easier and more convenient. Instead of getting out of bed and going to another room, you can simply reach over to comfort and feed your baby. This minimizes disruption and helps both you and your baby get back to sleep more quickly.

2. Enhanced Bonding
Having your baby close by fosters a stronger emotional bond. The proximity allows for more skin-to-skin contact, which is beneficial for both mother and baby. This closeness also helps the baby feel more secure and can lead to better sleep patterns.

3. Improved Safety
Bedside cribs are designed to attach securely to your bed, providing a safe sleeping environment for your baby while keeping them within arm’s reach. This setup reduces the risks associated with co-sleeping in the same bed, such as accidental suffocation.

4. Easier Soothing
Babies often wake up during the night and need to be soothed back to sleep. With a bedside crib, you can quickly attend to your baby without fully waking up. A gentle touch or soothing words can often be enough to help them drift back to sleep.

5. Better Sleep for Parents
Because you don’t have to fully wake up and get out of bed to tend to your baby, you’ll likely find that you get better quality sleep. This is crucial for new parents who need to stay rested and healthy to take care of their newborn.

6. Versatility
Many bedside cribs are adjustable and can be used as standalone cribs, playpens, or even travel cribs. This versatility makes them a practical investment that can be used in various stages of your baby’s early life.

  1. My second born wouldn’t leave my side anytime day or night and I’d love this crib for my next LO to practice safe sleeping with them by my side. It looks fantastic to be able to use.

  2. Do what you find works for you and your baby! It’s information overload for new parents by friends, family and online. Take in what you can but do what works for you and your baby. There is no rule book. Everyone is different.

  3. My advice to new parents is, relax and enjoy every minute with your baby, yes there will be tough times that you feel you can’t cope, so get the family involved, but if there is nobody there for you (like me) make sure you have a lie down when your baby is asleep, the house work can wait.
It’s your mental health that matters!
Another great idea is if baby want sleep or settle (like my little girl) roll a long bath towel up and put it in a pillowcase so it forms a arch, place baby on it to make them feel they are being snuggled.
    It worked everytime.

On to this fabulous prize, i’d so love one as grandbaby number 6 is due in August and i will be having baby for mummy to go back to work and on weekends so my son and daughter-in-law can spend quality time together and have a night out., Plus it would be great to take on holidays as i don’t trust those cots provided by the hotel/caravan parks.
Thank you ever so much, this would be amazing to use. x

  4. Do what works for you, don’t worry about what others are saying don’t worry about routine you will get there

  5. I’d love to win this for my daughter who is due later in the year. I would say don’t be afraid to ask family for help.

  6. I would love to win this as this would be great as needed later in the year. looks really well made.

  7. Don’t use ‘sleep aids’ to get your baby to settle. If they’re tired and they’re comfortable (clean, cool/warm enough, full tummy & winded) they will settle if you lay them down and leave them a few minutes. If you start rocking them, taking them for walks, using white noise etc you’ll be doing it forever and it’ll be so much harder getting them to self-soothe. It took me 20 years to learn this!

  8. Because it would avoid the constant getting out of bed to check that the baby is breathing! We all do it, it is the most natural thing, but it is wearying.
