7 Best Things to Eat and Drink When at Disney World

We are heading to Disney World again this summer and I cannot wait! This will be my third time but Erin’s second. We have taken both Chloe and Dylan when they were aged 10 or 11 and I have decided to do the same for Erin! This time it will just be the two of us along with my parents. We are staying at Port Orleans and have the Disney Dining offer.

This means that we are entitled to a quick meal, waiter meal and two snacks a day. The foodie spots are awesome in our experience and we have been planning where and what to eat!

We have just booked our ADR’s as we are at the six month window. I will share what has made our list this time as we have moved away from some of the character meals and gone for a few newer options. I am pretty excited!

Brace yourself for an unforgettable food experience when you’re in Disney! Keep reading to discover the 7 best things you must eat and drink when you’re in Disney World.

Mini Corn Dogs

Looking for something that tastes absolutely delicious and fills you up? Visit Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom and order some Mini Corn Dogs and you’re sorted! Browse through their menu and you’ll find many other delicious sides to pick from- fries, cupcakes, Mickey ice cream bars, chocolate coated marshmallows and more!

Kitchen Sink

Whether you’re a dessert lover or not, Kitchen Sink is that absolute mind-blowing treat that you can’t afford to miss out on while you’re here. Get yourself to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop to indulge in this sundae meant for four, which includes scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream ice creams, which are generously topped with all of their famous toppings!

Mr Kamal’s Fries

Strolling through Animal Kingdom and craving for something cheesy and spicy? Mr Kamal’s Fries are here to your rescue! Here, you’ll find crispy fries that are drizzled with tzatziki sauce and sriracha- the perfect combo of hot and cool!

Mickey Ice Cream

Mickey Ice Cream bars are the classic Disney snack you shouldn’t miss out on. What’s best is that you’ll find these at several different restaurants spread throughout the park. After all, you can’t go wrong with this combo of vanilla ice cream and a crunchy chocolate coating!

Dole Whip

If you went to Walt Disney World and didn’t try out the Dole Whip or one of their Dole Whip Floats, did you even actually go there? Visit Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom to treat yourself to this deliciousness. We recommend opting for the pineapple soft serve or trying the pineapple float version.

Blue Raspberry Drink

Super appealing with its electric blue hue and amazingly refreshing, the Blue Raspberry Drink, which is available at the Lunching Pad at Magic Kingdom is another must have. Its flavour is just perfect, and yes, the serving is pretty large too- enough to keep you going for a modest amount of time.

Mickey Waffles

Mickey Waffles are an absolute favourite, and work wonderfully if you’re a breakfast for lunch type of a person. You’ll find these at most Disney restaurants that serve breakfast, but if you’re up for it, you can also try the mini variants at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom- they’re just the perfect size and are super fluffy!
