To start the school holidays off in style we were booked in for a Sunday Breakfast with Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny. We arrived at opening time as that was the time we had pre booked breakfast, this treat does need booking in advance which can be done on the Wyevale Garden Centre. The table and scene were set as we were welcomed by Alice and The Mad Hatter who quickly provided us with drinks. The children were thrilled to see a Lindt chocolate bunny waiting for them at their seat.
The children were given squash whilst the grown ups had tea and coffee. Alice and The Mad Hatter were both attentive and chatting to Erin throughout she also had some colouring to keep her occupied. Breakfast arrived which was fit for a banquet. The children had sausage, hash brown, beans and toast whilst Lee and I feasted on the whole works.
Then the Easter Bunny came to see our table, they interacted well with Erin and Dylan, posing for photos and chatting to them. Once breakfast was eaten a biscuit complete with icing and sweets were bought out for the children to decorate the biscuit. Whilst Chloe and Dylan ate theirs straight away Erin waited to show it to Alice!
The Easter Bunny reappeared with a basket of cuddly animals which the children were able to choose the one they wanted. Then whilst our coffees were refilled Erin went for a play in the soft play area that this particular Wyevale Garden Centre has.
We really enjoyed our breakfast and it was a lovely start to the school holidays for us. The Easter teas and breakfast will be on at selected Wyevale Garden centers this coming week. They cost £9.99 per child and the adult breakfast is £7.99. We would like to thank Wyevale for inviting us as their guests this morning.

That top picture is just adorable. What a great idea! I do miss English Garden centres, we had a Squires around the corner from us, and they always had similar things such as meeting Father Christmas (where my tiny daughter told Father Christmas she didn’t need a bike anymore as I had taken one from someone’s house!! I had paid for it, but it was mortifying! :D) … Here it’s very much plants and birdseed and no pleasantries thank you very much. One day I won’t take them for granted again! 😀

So sweet – this looks like a great start to Easter celebrations and activities. I love those Lindt easter bunnies too, may have to sneak one onto the trolley myself this week 😉
What a lovely idea. So sweet to get to meet the Easter Bunny. There are so many opportunities to take your children to see Santa, but not so much the long-eared one!

I’ve read about garden centre experiences like this and often wondered what they’re actually like. I may keep my eyes open for ones near me and take the kids as it sounds like they’d love it.
