Seven months ago I was over one of 2000 people applying to be a Quinny Caster, I was thrilled a month later to be whittled down to one of the twenty five chosen people. I had the choice of Rebel Red and Rocking Black.
I was thrilled as I had begun the journey of looking for a lightweight stroller. Erin was fast approaching one and I didn’t think that she required our big travel system for our daily school runs and pops to the shops. I envisaged still using the travel system for longer trips out as my past experience of strollers were that whilst they were practical they did not always seem the most comfortable, often a little basic looking and feeling.
The quinny zapp xtra dispelled many of those myths. The quinny lies horizontally and has a great deep seat therefore Erin sleeps really well. It is very comfy as pictures like this illustrate
The quinny fared well in the snow, in fact I rather liked having something sturdy to hold on to!
My final verdict on the Quinny Zapp Xtra is that it is a great lightweight buggy that is ideal for the 6mth plus. I didn’t review it with the maxi carseat that can be attached but some of the other Quinny Casters did. The Quinny has replaced my travel system I don’t think the travel system has been out of the garage since! Now Erin and my quinny casters adventures have come to an end it is not a goodbye quinny more of an au revoir as it will continue to feature in our lives and I’m sure there will be many more pictures of Erin to come in it as she travels through toddlerhood.

use this stroller mainly for travel. Actually I like to use different strollers according to my needs. For example I use bob revolution while I do jogging with my baby.
